The towel problem, reconsidered
An ordinary towel was never designed for this.
It slides down the back. It gathers underneath you. It falls onto the ground. You stand up, fix it, sit down, and eventually do it all again.
It is a small problem — until you realize how often it interrupts a perfectly good afternoon. The Lounger was designed around the chair itself, creating a more secure, comfortable, and considered place to settle in.

Our core belief
Summer is measured in afternoons.
Not every memorable summer requires a plane ticket, a reservation, or a week away. Sometimes it is the afternoon you packed the cooler, brought the book you may or may not finish, found two chairs in the sun, and stayed longer than planned.
Poolside Archive exists for those afternoons. We make thoughtful objects that remove small interruptions, add a little beauty, and help leisure feel like leisure.
Born from a very specific annoyance
The problem was ordinary. The solution did not have to be.
Poolside Archive began with a familiar ritual: spreading a towel over a chaise, watching it slide out of place, fixing it, sitting down, and repeating the entire process throughout the afternoon.
What began as a better-fitting pool textile became an opportunity to make something more personal — an object with the ease of good design and the character of a vintage find.

How is the Lounger different from a regular towel?
The Lounger is designed specifically around the dimensions and movement of a pool chaise. Its shape provides more intentional coverage and helps reduce the slipping and bunching common with ordinary rectangular towels.
Does every Lounger look the same?
Each design is intended to have its own collected character. Depending on the final production approach, textile placement and combinations may vary from piece to piece.
Does it come with a bag?
Yes. Each Lounger is designed to include a coordinating carry bag.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Final care instructions will reflect the materials and construction selected for production.
